Special Post: Lamborghini

After nearly two years of blogging, this is the first entry I made on my trademark profile for social networking-of Lamborghini. Be it facebook, blogspot, friendster, or even yahoo messenger, Lamborghini would always be the choice for my picture profile. Those who don't even have the faintest idea of what Lamborghini is, -i tell you- it is a car. Specifically, a sports/super car. Below are some models with brief specs-take note this is not an automobile page..

1) Lamborghini Murcielago

This car is just cool. This is the first Lamborghini model I fell in love with during my lifetime (at approximately 12 years old). First found it in NFS (Need For Speed) Hot Pursuit II. The rich gold color is always an attention-grabber. Never felt in love with any other Lamborghini models (Diablo, etc) until Lamborghini came up with Gallardo in 2003 (Knew its existence only when almost finishing high school)

2) Lamborghini Gallardo 

Official Name: Lamborghini Gallardo

Released: 2003

Price: USD $200 000

Top Speed: ~325km/h

Weight: 1569kg

Perhaps this is Lamborghini's second best car after Reventon. The design is much alike with that of Murcielago. The distinctive feature is the headlamp-Gallardo's stretches farther downwards whereas Murcielago's a bit wider to the center of the hood. It's so dazzlingly beautiful..especially the gold/yellow one...only if I could have one inside my garage..

3) Lamborghini Reventon

Official Name: Lamborghini Reventon

Released: 2008

Price: - USD $1,200,000 .

0-60 mph: - 3.3 secs

Top Speed: - 211 mph (340km/h)

Weight: - 1665kg

This is said to be Lamborghini's best product. Only 20 units ever sold. Plus, they are sold out before manufactured. Adapted from Murcielago-especially at the rear..the front bumper is made bat-like, adding up its elegant look. It's just sooo awesome!!! What else should I say?

 4) Lamborghini Alar

Official Name: Lamborghini Alar

Released: March 2008

Weight: 1200kg

Top Speed: 254.2 mph (410 km/h)

0-60mph: 3.6 Seconds

Price: USD $750,000

First time viewed, the design seems eye-capturing. After a few blinks, the design looks soo damn ugly..seriously, it is sooo not Lamborghini. As a matter of fact, it is an Argentina made/product, approved by the original Lamborghini's company to use only the engine of the former (Lamborghini Diablo) model plus the bull badge. That is why the look is far different from real Italy Lambo (Lamborghini originates from Italy).

Lamborghini has always been my dream car even though I am not likely to own it. Plus, it is not practical in Malaysia for some reasons.

The maintenance in costlier 

Spare parts aren't likely to be found

Our roads aren't compatible to its speed/performance (are there such place?)

So that is why 'Lamborghini' is part of this blog's URL. The 'genius' part is added because it sounds catchy, hence contributing to the name lamborgenius.
